Refund policy

Online Refund Policy:

This refund policy is only applicaple for online purchase. 

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return, but we will check and verify before approving for a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@japanhome.com.sg. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders / flash sales or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Change of mind is not applicable for returns as well.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. Once the item is returned, we will process the refund through your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Refunds for PayNow QR Payment: In general, you will bear the cancellation charge (at non-capped 1% of total paid amount) of paid orders made via the PayNow QR Payment. With the exception of order cancellation due to out-of-stock of the item(s) ordered only.

Defective or Damaged Products

Except for Products that are defective or damaged upon delivery to you, all Products cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you receive a defective or damaged Product, you must notify Everson Electrical (S) Pte Ltd within 7 days after the day following the delivery of the Product, after which Everson Electrical (S) Pte Ltd shall have no liability to you. Everson Electrical (S) Pte Ltd's obligation to you in respect of such notification will be at its option to: (i) replace any Product that is defective or damaged; or (ii) refund to you the amount paid by you for the relevant Product to the original method of payment.

Liability and Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Everson Electrical (S) Pte Ltd makes no warranty or representation that any Product will meet your requirements, that it will be of satisfactory quality, that it will be fit for a particular purpose, or that it will not infringe the rights of third parties.

Everson Electrical (S) Pte Ltd will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any Order, however caused, even if foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts Everson Electrical (S) Pte Ltd's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any matter for which it would be illegal for it to exclude its liability.

It is entirely at our discretion to accept or reject any offer submitted by you. Our acceptance of such offers is always subject to authorisation of your payment card (or receipt of payment in cleared funds), availability of stock at the stated price and confirmation that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions by clicking on the “I ACCEPT” check box.

If for whatever reason we are unable to accept your Order, we shall endeavour to notify you of this promptly and shall provide a full refund of any prepayments made.
